Digilocker

The state of Karnataka has fully adopted DigiLocker for its transport department. Over 2.7 crore digital Driving Licenses (DL), Vehicle Registration Certificates (RC), Emission Certificates (EC) from the state are now available in DigiLocker. The Karnataka Transport Department has issued an official notification that documents from DigiLocker are valid under the Indian IT Act 2000 and will be treated at par with certificates issued by the department in the form of smartcard or paper form. This notification can be accesed at this link https://twitter.com/digilocker_ind/status/961533192200073216.

This means that if you are a resident of Karnataka, you can carry your transport documents in DigiLocker freely and show it to traffic policemen if they ask for it. Please see the advertisement to this effect, that the state government issued in leading newspapers recently.

DigiLocker wants to thank Karnataka State Government and its transport & police departments for their support! Lets together make this a great success!

Media in india have too many bugs let start from maharashtra media newspaper- maharashtra times 1) It is rather news analysis news paper I suggest to change name maharashtra analysis times? You can see , open second page of maharashtra times that page full of news analysis. 2) less instantaneous news . Very difficult to find news in news paper. Reason is same many analysis news is present in news paper maharashtra times. 3) supplement is full of party in colleges or film actor festival where entertainment is mean of specific peoples party in specific place.
